Question about Toshiba TLP S30 Multimedia Projector

1 Answer

My Toshiba TLP-XD2000 projector reads "unsupported signal" when it is plugged in to my Dell Inspiron 600m laptop. It has worked for about 8 months perfectly and then when I plugged it into another computer (an hp notebook) the projector read "unsupport signal." Since we thought it just didnt work on that computer we plugged it back into the Dell Laptop and it still reads "Unsupport signal." why does it read this and what am i suppose to do to get it to work?

Reset the settings to factory default. when you plugged it into the 2nd computer, it searched for matching resolution, to no avail. when you put it back with yours, it was on the default setting.

Laptop won't dock

The inspiron 600M will not function in a D-Dock, but will work in a D-Series port Replicator. (Although the D600 and 600M share the same motherboard, the bottom plastics are different)

After trying the 600M in the D-Dock, it is possible the dock is damaged. I would undock the D630, then delete the docked profile. power off, dock, and reboot and see if it detects and works.

Unsupported Signal

Hi Circuitrider

Just change the resolution on your PC to match that of the Projector i.e. XGA Projector = 1024x768 resoltuion.

If the problem still persists , the Mainboard is at fault and will need either replacement or repair.
