How difficult would it be for me to replace an heat element on a beko oven ?

1st thing is to have the unit unplugged so you have no risk of shocking yourself. Most elements are attached to the back wall with a couple screws then you should be able to pull the element forward and then the element should have male and female connectors on it that should just pull off, but hold 1 end of wire and the element connector so the wire doesn't fall back.

Beko oven door - permanently detached?!

Hi - in the end I found the cheapest local oven repairers and they ended up having to do a bodge job ... they admitted that Beko was a bad brand with lots of design problems, this being just one of them. By disconnecting and opening up the back he managed to get one of the hinges back on (with my help!), but for the other he had to resort to using bigger screws coming in from the front. Recently, after less than 18 months of use, the oven and one of the hotplates stopped working on the same night. I gave the whole thing up as a bad bet and ordered a more expensive Indesit I'm now completely happy with. I think with ovens you get what you pay for. I would never touch another Beko ANYTHING with a barge pole!

Pretty normal problem with Beko.
You need a Philips 2 screwdriver to get a suitable grip on the screwhead.
Good Luck!
