When you installed it were you careful to set the motor to the correct incoming line voltage? If not and you are powering it with 115V you probably didn't reset the motor for 115 from 230...factory set motors come out for 230 V. A motor set for 230 but running on 115 will be very hot and over time will begin to cycle its overload. The performance will be poor until corrected. Look for a dial in the terminal area or wires to be reconfigured. Directions for how to set the motor voltage should be found on the motor nameplate.
