2004 Ford Escape BACKUP LIGHTS both are completely not working. We have new bulbs and the fuse is new what could be the problem for the lights not working?

My guess would be the neutral safety switch on the transmission.
The switch also acts as a backup light switch when the shifter is in reverse.
I would check for power at the switch for the reverse light circuit.

2001 Escape XLT. When first using car, when I shift from Park to Reverse or Drive the car hesitates for about 1 second then a pop is heard in the rear and car moves. This does not happen if the car is...

Sounds like it could be a sticky brake on one of the rear wheels. this would only happen after the car has stood still for a while, nothing to worry about if this is the case but if you want it to stop you can inspect the rear calipers or ask a mechanic to check them.

2004 Ford Escape. When the car is in drive or reverse, the radio is on but I can hear the sound. When it is in Park, everything is fine.

go to radio shack and see if you can buy a noise filter for the radio. i did this years ago and it worked fine. the reason why you can hear it in drive is there is more spark under power and therefore if a plug wire etc is bad you will hear it!!
