Question about Sirius Stiletto 2 Satellite Radio Receiver
This piece of garbage Stiletto 2 is froze at the dog logo and restarts. Never gets past the dog logo. Windows doesn't even recognize their is a device plugged into it... Anyway, as a last resort I hooked it up to my PC via USB and removed the battery. (It did something different!!!) It gave me a low battery warning with the battery removed and then shut down. I powered the unit back up and with battery and it does the same thing but it now gives me two error messages 1. Error, please wait and 2. Restarting, please wait.
That's about it folks. Have had nothing but problems with this thing and I'm ready to toss my $400 in the trash. Rip'd off by the man again....
Exact same problem here. the fuse inside is blown, according to sirius tech support. I have a new one "on order" as a warranty replacement. They said it could take up to a month (in canada) i read many bad reviews about this unit... now I agree with them completely. 3 months of light home use before a fuse blows? Pathetic. A month wait for a new one? Unforgivable.

You need to run a device recovery. First you need to ensure you have the proper software, (available at http://www.tss-radio.com/links) then you hold options, display and power simultaneously until a screen prompts you to connect to a PC. Then connect via USB and the device should prompt you to initialize a Device Recovery, which you do by pressing OK. Usually takes about 20 minutes. This should restore Stiletto to like new condition.

Before you toss it in the trash call Sirius and complain to them. I have had problems with a few stilettos in the past and I gotten no questions asked warranty replacements that worked perfectly. It was worth the phone call.
