If you are using this with POE, there have been complaints that Ethernet links over 15 metres or poor cable quality can cause this effect.
Also there are warnings in the manual about keeping it clear of electrical RF interference which may also cause this effect.

Reconnect the wireless to your phone. Most Likely your phone will be the problem, not the TP Link.

When prompted for the password, press the clear button and hit enter. This will let you into the switch.
Next to clear the config, type "erase startup-config" at the # prompt, then follow the prompt to reboot the switch.

How to configure my tcp/ip TP-link access point

The router has both a "WAN" (Wide Area Network) side
and a "LAN" (Local Area Network) side.

On the WAN side, most ISPs (Internet Service Providers) will provide the values for IP-address, subnet-mask, and gateway.

On the LAN side, you should just use the "default" values.

Connect your computer via an Ethernet-cable to the router,
and the router will supply values to your computer,
so that your computer can communicate with the router.
