Question about Computers & Internet
There can be a few causes of slow internet sites. If you have a high speed connection, you can have your ISP run a line test to make sure that everything is OK there. I just checked the site myself and its flying for me.
The next thing I would do is scan your PC for malware and Virus infections. There is TONS of malicious software floating around right now that wreck havoc with your internet connection.
First go to www.malwarebytes.org and download the free scanner, it is excellent and very easy to use. If you get infections found, reboot after removing them and scan again. Rinse and repeat until clean. Also run a virus scan, after making sure that you have updated your virus definitions.
If you come out clean, have contached your ISP and they say its fine, you may have simply caught them at a very congested time.
My bet is on the malware.....
Hope this helps!
