Model and serial number

If this is a Whirlpool manufactured TOP LOADER (such as the one you posted this question under), the model number and serial number are located on a nameplate along the wash tub rim under the lid.

If this is a FRONT LOADER, the model number and serial number will be located along the door facing as you open the door.

If you have questions, please post back and let me know. I hope this helps you.

I need a hose for a Kenmore vacuum. The serial number I found is D80501276 and model numder is 116. Another number on the bottom is 2841080. Where can I get these? Claire Salter

Go to the Sears appliance center. They should have parts for vacuums at least up to 10 years old.

Sometimes vacuum cleaner repair shops have hoses that are used that may work. Check in your community.

I have a Kenmore canister serial number DB12027279, model 116-2234590. The problem is that the power cord plug gets very hot. Please advise what to do. Thank you.

Just a suggestion, as the debris enters the machine, it has to pass the motor. The motor has vents around it. Enough "debris" gets in that motor, the motor starves for power, which inturns make the media, the cord, work harder.

Or check your house wiring.

4.3 amp Kenmore canister vacuum power switch has failed

You did not give the complete model number, but you can go to sears.com, click on parts and put in you model number. You will get links to click on, click on the cannister one and you get a picture breakdown and a parts list, you can also order after choosing the part you need.

Switch number is 4369051 . You can go to sears.com, click on the parts link, put in the part number and you can order it thru them. Or put in you model number, click on dust compartment and a parts list and a picutre diagram will come up. You can order there also.

vulcan bonaire comfort control External natural gas electronic ignition 2004. ISSUE: Fan blowing only cool air continuously. Forced to kill power to stop it. model is one of the following. MB514E,20E or 30E. Going by mech drawing parts list. i can confirm what type of sensors i have cleaned with very fine sandpaper. flame sensor PN 5441603SP and IGNITER ELECTRODE PN 5441602SP The fault code i see is described as the following. There are x4 LED's. Sequence Left to Right. LEGEND: 1 Flame Sensor 2 Pressure switch 3 OverTemp 4 Diag. R Red G Green S Solid Colour B Blinking LED Behaviour. In order 2RS & 4GS Until i hear ignition. 2RS & 3RB Duration: split second 2RB,3RS & 4GB Duration: split second 3RS & 4GB Duration: Until it has completed blinking x4 times. 3RS Duration 4 seconds Repeat last two mentioned behaviour. in my own opinion, as a safety feature, the unit thinks that it has overheated or is about to. so kills the gas and force feeding cool air to heating components to save it from frying. Does this mean i have fault 04 if so does this mean i may have a faulty igniter or flame sensor or maybe a faulty as described in the mech drawing SWITCH OVER TEMPERATURE 120 degrees celsius. Am i correct here? Is this the over temperature cut out switch? if no one can really pinpoint which part requires replacement, can you at least, in sequence advise which parts to purchase? so then ill just try my luck. i wonder how to properly test if flame sensor, igniter, over temp etc is faulty with a multimeter. do i just perform a continuity test. I wonder what other parts can i test related to this fault im getting.
