Kenwood DNX8120 dosen't come on.


First check the radio fuse in your car. Then check the fuse in the back of the radio. And then check the power wires (Red and Yellow).

How do u bypass the emergency brake sensor on the kenwood dnx8120?


exactly, just connect the parking wire to a ground source and your problem is solved. This hack also allows use of the nav. while the vehicle is moving.

I have a Mustang GT convertible with the Shaker 1000 system. I'm installing a Kenwood DNX8120. There are 3 plugs in the back of the factory radio. I only have 2 plugs that will match the factory plugs. one...


a savvy installer can make a circuit using your garage remote (installed in the dash) or some wireless lights (with remote) and with the push of a button, your (insert item here) will function.
Depending on the voltage required, one is really just a ground, and the other is a positive trigger.

It requires a SPDT relay, and if the remote is not 12V, a resistor of the right value to lower the voltage.
