Usb ports on Acer travel mate and the i-phone

I am unable to charge my i-phone on my Acer TravelMate 3044WTMi, the computer makes a chime noise when I plug into any of the 3 USB ports, but will not see the phone and will not charge. If I plug into any other computer it is fine. there has to be something wrong with the ports it is like there is not quite enough power running to these port. HELP !!! please

Check in Device Manager to see if there is an exclamation mark next to USb devices..Report back so that v can proceed further..

I have acer travel mate dead and there is no voltage on battery terminals as well as not on switching buttons

connect ac power cord, and let it charge for some hrs before trying to start computer again, if battery does not accept any charge, replace battery

I would like to install windows7 on my laptop Acer travel mate 4150 (Travel Mate 4151NLCi) .I already upgraded ram to 2 GB.I afraid about the drivers so help me.

Windows 7 should install on the Travelmate without any problems. However, you are correct to assume that some of the drivers will either not be available or out of date. You can find the ACER drivers on the Acer support page.
