Question about Panasonic Matshita Computers & Internet
I am trying to use my dvd external drive with my laptop. It was bought in Amazon in USA, region 1, and I am trying to use it in Argentina, region 4. It doesn't let me make the change saying I don not have an administration privilege...It's my computer, since day 1.
When you are using a windows computer, you will have a user account, with limited privileges. To install software, you must be the admin. Ask the person who installed your computer to help. He / she must know the admin password. I don't think this has to do with to region code on DVD's. That is just a protection, so you can't view DVD's from another region. Although there are tools to avoid that, while you are burning a DVD.

a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Tips for a great answer:
VOILA! Both my laptop and my desktop PC recognized the LG BD burner again and assigned it a drive letter (like it used to do).
