Pop-ups on my laptop

The anti-virus popups are a virus, If you have an anti-virus loaded on your PC then you need to either update it or call the customer support for the anti-virus and have them help you get all the adware and malware off your system. If you have a free anti-virus, then you need to remove it and load something better, like maybe windows defender or Microsoft security essentials, which are free full version antivirus programs, then load MBAM (malwarebytes.org) and run a full scan on your system. Sometimes if the popups are bad enough, it would just be better to do a new re-install of the whole system and start from scratch.

Google malwarebyte anti malware , down load the free version , install it and let it up date, then run it could take a while. when it is finished delete all it comes up with. Have you a anti virus installed? AVG is a good free one . if you have more then one only let them run one at a time .

I CANOT SIGNIN EVERYTIME I TRY I GET A POPUP THAT SAYS (WHOOPS SOMETHING HAPPEN WHILE BROWSING.THANKS FOR YOUR PATIENT WHILE WE RESTART THE BROWSER ????

you got a virus, or malware...... if your browser allows extensions/tools like google chrome does, try and get all those turned off and deleted... Go to your programs list and uninstall anything that looks highly suspicious or stuff you know for a fact you didnt put on your computer..

a free copy of malware bytes can be obtained from http://www.malwarebytes.org/mwb-download/ and it will actually let you remove the malware and not want you to then buy something. malware is sneaky, can have great anti virus protection and still get alot of it.

also if you dont have an anti virus, or not sure how good your current anti virus is, i suggest AVAST, http://www.avast.com/index it is also free and works well, ive never had a trojan or anything get passed it.

Everytime I try to login to myspace, I get a popup covering my page. How do I get rid of the popups?

Sounds like you may have some sort of Malware infection on your computer.

  1. Download a program called "MalwareBytes Anti-Malware"
  2. Install and run a scan with the program, remove any found infections
This will remove most malware/adware on your computer. As a precautionary measure I would also recommend running a virus scan. If you do not have an anti-virus software on your computer, I would recommend any of the following (they are all free and effective) :

If the problem still persists after both an anti-malware and anti-virus scan I would recommend taking it to a local computer repair shop for further examination. Persistent and random pop-up ad's are the first sign of a virus/malware infection. You don't want to wait till it's too late!
