Question about Ohmeda Ohio Care Plus Incubator

Open Question

Anyone know what the E05 error on the Ohio IC incubator unit indicates?

Upon heating up the unit will send the alarm between 3-4 minutes from start and error code E05 will present in the display. The unit was supposedly working prior to transit/shipping.

What does area Error code E-05 mean on a Frigidaire front load dryer model # AEQ6000ES2

model aeq6000es2: the "e05" error code normally indicates that control board may need to be replaced or a stuck relay on the control panel. you can reset the unit by unplugging the dryer power cord for 5 minutes and then reapplying the power. if the problem persists then the control board or the control panel may need to be at fault.

Maytag Maxima E05 & F06 error codes on washer

My F06 E05 error returns within a moment of clearing all errors. My Maxima has no tach line from the M to the MCU. MCU commo fault is a different error. So does anyone except Maytag really know what this error is? And Maytag only wants to send a service guy to bleed some money from you.

Error code e61

Identification
  • GE dryers use three-character codes that display on LCD screens. Every code starts with "E" and is followed by a two-digit number.
Power Failure
  • When your home loses power, the "E01" error flashes on the screen. Reset the dryer memory by unplugging the device, waiting 30 seconds and plugging it back in. The error code will disappear.
Thermistor Errors
  • Errors "E02," "E03," "E04" and "E05" are thermistor errors. The thermistor, when operating properly, reads the temperature of the dryer. Errors E02 through E05 indicate the thermistor must be replaced.
Effects
  • When there is an error with the door switch and sensor, the "E60" error code will appear. An unbalanced door will produce the E60 code. Try to close the door gently and listen for the click. If the error remains, the door switch may need to be replaced.
Control Board Errors The control board sends signals from the controls to the dryer. When this fails, errors "E61," "E80" and "E81" appear. Contact GE service or install a new control board for the dryer

What does F61 mean

Hi Georgina,

F61 is an error code(protect error code in other brand) for panasonic home theater system. This will trigger if the unit gone to overload to avoid further damaged to other parts. This code is quite technical if your not handy with electronics. However I will say to you the common caused of this error code.

1. Output IC - this is the most common caused of the error code. Once shorts happened to this IC, it will trigger the error code. Exposure to high volume and/or running in the long time will caused this IC to shorts and produce an overload.

2. Shorted Speaker - if one of your speakers shorts, error code will appear also. This may isolate by disconnecting the speaker to the set and play the unit *****. If the symptom still there the fault came from the unit itself.

3. Shorted Inputs - inputs connector is also prone to shorts due to frequent bending and pulling. To isolate this from fault, disconnect all the inputs connected to the unit like the aux input, antenna, mic, etc.

4. Faulty power supply - once gone to out-of-regulation condition, the error code will appear to protect the most expensive parts from further damaged. Bad solder joints in this section is also to consider.

5. Faulty Fan and its circuitry - F61 will appear only after a minute of operation not upon powering on the unit. Check the fan if working or not...

I would advice you to send the unit to your local Panasonic service center and leave the expert isolate the symptoms.

Also, check if your unit is under warranty period, avail it because the manufacturer will fix it forfree.

Hope I helped you.

Good luck and have a great day!

My amplifier is geetting very hot and shutting off

Hi gordog239,
This symptoms indicated that your sound output IC was already shorted. It heats up while on operation but the heat depends upon the volume and the load speakers(normal operation). If the unit gone to excessive heat even the volume is set to min, this was a clear indication that the fault came from the output IC (mounted in the heat sink. You may confirm it by opening the cover of the unit and touch the heat sink.
Once confirmed that the heat sink gone to excessive heat, replace the output IC and all electrolytic capacitor around this section, this will solve the issue.
Let me know if you need further assistance.
Hope I helped you.
Have a nice day!

How hot does this heat tape get up too?

Sounds like you are trying to hatch chickens. The heat tape is designed to keep pipes from freezing, and will not be warm enough for an incubator. Try a heating pad or electric blanket, or if you are really serious, you could just BUY an incubator

My smaller johnson had a pickup tube in the housing. With your alarm you only know when it is too hot. You do not know how close you are to setting the alarm at full throttle; it can be running hotter than it should then too. I would drop the lower unit, pull the sending unit and try to force water through the sending unit hole. This should backflush the head. Backflush the impeller housing too.
