You will need a 4 in 1 tool and new valve cores sold at most supply houses. It screws onto the service connection and the rod pushes in to unscrew the valve core. Once the core is loose, allow the pressure to push rod out, shut the 90 degree valve and unscrew the push rod, the valve core can easily be changed out for a new one by reversing steps. While your at it, get new valve caps with good orings to replace the old caps.

Chrome OS is damaged or missing

To install the Google Chromium operating system (OS) on your computer, instead of booting it from an image or using an official Google Chrome OS netbook, you must compile the Chromium source. Compiling the Chromium source is a complex task that might be difficult for novice computer users. The first stage of the task requires preparing the hard drive for a new installation by formatting it. All commands entered to the kernel are Linux commands because Google Chromium is based on Linux.

Insert the Chromium installation disc in your computer. Restart the computer. When prompted, press any key to enter the boot disc. A kernel shell will flash while waiting for a command. Type "fdisk /dev/hda" and press "Enter." Type "d" and press "Enter." Type "1" and press "Enter" again to delete the initial partition. Type "n" and then "p." Type "1" and press "Enter." This creates a new partition. Press "1" and press "Enter," then press "Enter" again. Type "mkfs.ext3 /dev/sdb1" and press "Enter" to create your new file system for the drive. Type "mkdir /disk1" and press "Enter." Type "mont /dev/sdb1 /disk" and press "Enter," then "df-H" and press "Enter." This partitions and formats your hard drive, which now is ready to work using the Chromium operating system. http://www.chromium.org/chromium-os/developer-guide

Removing wiper arm... Cap is off nut is off...i am now facing either a highly corroded washer to shaft or some shoulder that prevents the arm to come off?

The wiper transmission spline is tapered. Use a wiper arm removal tool or I use an old top post battery removal tool. It pushes down on center while pulling up on outside of arm.

Sequence for the push rods for the intake & exhaust on a 2001 Grand Am GT there are 3 long ones & 3 short ones, While replacing the intake manifold gaskets, I forgot where they go!!!!

The valves that are furthest from the intake, on the outside perimeter of the head, closest to the spark plugs are small diameter valves. These valves use the short rods. The valves that are [non-uniformly] on the interior of the head use the large diameter valves. These valves use the long push rods. This is not due to the diameter, but do to the proximity of the valve on the head with respect to the rod length required to push it. So, looking at a picture of the "front head," closest to the front of the car, from underneath will verify that diameters are small - large - large - small - large - small. Inspecting from above you should note the order of valves as outside - interior - interior - outside - interior - outside. And if you invert that same head to the "rear head" configuration (180o) it would become small - large - small - large - large - small (outside - interior - outside - interior - interior - outside).

The answer is this:
The rear head (2-4-6) will have push-rods in the following configuration:
short - long - short - long - long - short

The front head (1-3-5) will have push-rods in the following configuration:
short - long - long - short - long - short

Cracked radiator in old house.

It probably has black iron piping so, you don't want to use compression caps. Get pipe caps of the proper size and use teflon tape so you can remove them when the radiator is replaced. If you have copper pipes, just slide the base nut on, put on the compression ring and then put on the cap. Whan you replace the radiator, you will have to cut the pipe off where the compression ring was. Soldering a cap on would be a better solution. There should be a system shutoff valve to prevent the boiler from refilling automatically, or trying to fill when you remove or disconnect a pipe.
