Whateve I speak on mobile is not audiable by the

have you tried to call and speak to another cellphone?if you tried and same thing was happen ,your phones microphone is damage and needs to replace..its easy to replace if you have a T6 tools ,removed the back cover of your phone then the front cover..screwed the 6 screws then removed the LCD or glass display together with its frame then you will see the charging pin of your phone, (it is color gray)...the microphone is at the right side included in the charging pin (color brown and the terminal is gold)....much better if you replace including the charging pin to make it easy for you...
after doing that ,back all the screw and the cover ,turn on the phone and test it..

The XLR came apart

The ground (shield) is connected at pin 1. I think that it's the white color cable.
The "in phase signal - hot" is connected to pin 2. It's the red color cable.
The "out of phase signal - cold" is connected to pin 3. It's the yellow color cable.
Your microphone is a dynamic one so there is no need for power supply and no worry about wrong connections.

Hi i need to know the color code to assemble a new 3 prong stereo 1/4 inch jack for a shure sm 58 microphone. i need to know the order and color to reassemble the mic cable to a new 1/4 inch guitar type...

Unfortunately, different cables use different colors of wires. Thus, you'll have to see what colors are connect to both ends of the cables. Here is the wiring:

XLR -> 1/4 inch
Pin 1 -> Sleeve
Pin 2 -> Tip
Pin 3 -> Sleeve

Don't know the conections of blue or red

If we're talking about the microphone cable wiring on a low impedance mic remember this. Cheap mic cables with XLR's on both ends often have no standard color code to follow. True pin 1 is ALWAYS ground (shield wire) but the other two wires could be any color of the rainbow. Look for small numbers beside each pin of the XLR connector and make sure that pin two on one end of your cable, is also pin two on the other end as well....etc. Special note: The XLR connectors set screws have reversed threads and it's the same for the XLR male plug in the bottom of the microphone as well.....Glen

Mic problem

Hi and welcome to FixYa,

Offhand, the 4 pin mic connector and corresponding pin # would depend on the communications equipment the Astatic was initially wired for. However, the color coding of the wires in an Astatic would be:
  • white - mic audio;
  • shield/blue - gnd;
  • black - NC or speaker;
  • red - NO or PTT;
  • yellow - not normally used.
Good luck and Thank you for using FixYa. Happy Holidays.
