Question about Heating & Cooling

Panasonic heat pump won't turn off - help, we had it on a timer and then tried to turn it off, after fiddling with the buttons for more than an hour we got it turned off, but now this morning it won't turn back on. It's like the remote is not telling the pump to turn on and off. The batteries are new. Any ideas?

Try cutting the power off and wait about 30 seconds and turn the power back on. What I mean about turning the power of is to either ulplug the unit or flip the circuit breaker off.
These units have a pc board with memory and by turning off the power you make it reset itself.

I hope this works for you.

SOURCE: Goodman split not responding to remote

First turn the main power off to the unit at the breaker, wait about five min. and switch the breaker back on, then see if this solves the problem. In the instalation manual that came with the unit on the last page you will see a code of the red blinking light, this will tell you the most likely problem if not solved by switching the breaker on again.............Hope this helps

Wash out your outside coil and monitor the outside fan. sounds like a lockout due to dirty condenser or intermittent motor operation. Could mean condencer air problem.

SOURCE: Hi, I have a KSR27g split system air conditioner.

Judging by the model number, it is a Kelvinator unit. You can check if the remote works by using your phone or digital camera. When the camera is on, press a button on the remote whilst aiming the remote transmitter at the lens of your camera. If you can see a burst of light, the control works and the receiver on the indoor unit is the problem. If not, the remote is the problem.
Hope this helps

SOURCE: dometic control comfort control will not turn heat on or off

I had the same problem. I fixed it by turning off the battery switch to disconnect the battery from the power panel. I then had to turn off the main 110 breakers to shut down the converter. Once all the power was turned off the LED light went off. When I turned the power back on the remote was working fine. Hope this works for you.

I accidentally overheated my Panasonic Plasma TV TH-42PZ700U. It won't turn on, and the power button is just blinking. What can I do?

All you can do is: Take the plug out of the wall (power) - wait 2hrs, plug in and try again. If it will not work after being cooled and the capacitors drained (which this will do) then it needs repair.

Generally speaking a lamp timer is just a warning indication and won't shut the unit down. There should be indications of why the unit is shutting down. For example, is the power LED blinking or any other light blinking? My primary suspicion would be either an air flow problem or heat. Check to be sure that the fans are running properly.

Please update this with any additional detals.

Thanks,

I think, you have set the timer for one hour. No problem, remove battery from remote and reset it and same way isolate the power to your air conditioner for 5 seconds and reset it. Now all pre programmed would have been canceled. Now you can set your temp as you like.
And another reason may be your compressor getting heated after an hour, due to dust blocked in your out door coil. Hence, please serive the unit at once. Thanks.

Lamp Timer Reset procedure Panasonic Projector PT-L759E

Greetings!

It's been a while since I did one of these, but if I remember correctly:

- Turn on the set
- Push volume down on remote and at the same time....
- Push Split on the remote and hold both for 5 seconds

This should do it. The display should reset to "0".

Good luck!
