We have a Fisher and Paykel Excellence 7.5 SmartDrive 9. I think we lost wedding ring through it. Do these machines have a coin catcher in them somewhere?

have a look under the machine where the tub hose goes to the pump
the catcher is in that hose
the tub hose will go in the top and the pump hose in the side so that any items drop to the bottom and are not put through the pump impeller

Where is the coin catcher on a frigidaire front load washer?

Good Afternoon Friend,

I understand you want to know where the coin catcher is located. The coin catcher is located inside your washer, at the bottom right-hand side, attached to the drain pump. If you want to get to the coin catcher, I suggest contacting your local authorized technician for assistance. Hope this is helpful.

-Best Regards-

Washer won't drain, burning smell on rinse cycle. appears to be spinning just not draining

Check the 'coin-catcher'. It's a small compartment in front of the pump. It's supposed to catch all the big stuff (coins, nails, screws, etc) before it damages the pump. Sometimes lint and other items will snag in the coin-catcher and clog it up... Once it clogs, it will not allow enough water to go thru to drain the machine. I would not use the machine until I got it fixed (or looked at by a repairman)... the smell you're getting could be the pump not getting enough water thru and burning itself up....

Where is the filter on a whirlpool duet washer?

Unplug the washer. Remove the bottom front panel, usually three screws. You will see a round plastic piece that screws into the motor pump assembly, in the front center of the washer. Put a couple of towels down, unscrew this part, and remove it. This is the filter-coin catcher on the duet. Clean it out every 3 months or so. This is mainly for large items, so the easiest way to keep it clean is to just make sure there is nothing in your pockets. Good Luck, Appliance Specialists.

How do you check if the coin catcher is plugged on a frigidaire ftf2140fs0 washer?

Remove bottom pannel. you will see a black rubber boot.Undo the clamp that connects to the tub. Pull boot down a little and reach the top of the boot with fingers and pull out plastic coin catcher. Clean out and replace.

Washer wont spin

either a bad motor control board or your coin catcher is full of stuff. i would check the coin catcher first. open the front panel and you can see the pump the coin catcher is the part that comes from the bottom of the tub to the pump.Careful when you take it out there will be water in it and you will have to be ready with a towel or shop vac. put it into drain first before taking apart. it will not drain all of the water.

Whirlpool coin operated washer and dryer

you need to take the coin slot out by using a socket wrench. then you need to flip the slot over and take the screws off. there is going to be two more screws to unscrew. take off that piece and also the claw like coin catcher. form here on out you should be able to remove as many slots as you need to.

Bosch Logixx 8 washing machine Powers OFF itself when filling water in the softening stage I have a 7 years old Bosch WAS32742AU/08 washer, it will wash, rinse then will power itself OFF with nothing on the display when it reaches the softening cycle where it begins to fill water, there is about 10mins left in the cycle. I can turn the dial OFF then back to the same program to resume the cycle, it will start filling with water again in the softening stage and power off again. I've checked the water level pressure switch hose and cleaned the chamber, I dont't think there is a problem with that because it works during the cycle until the softening stage. I can run and complete the Drain only cycle, Rinse only cycle, Spin only cycle and 15min Quick cycle without interruptions. It's only programs that has the Softening part of the cycle it powers off when filling water in the middle dispenser compartment during the softening stage where Valve 1 and Value 2 are open. I don't even use softener and the compartment is clean. The current work around is when it Powers OFF during softening, I turn the dial to OFF then select the rinse only cycle to complete the washing. I got into the Valve test mode and found that Value 1 and Valve 2 tests are OK individually but when it V1 and V2 are both ON to fill the middle softener dispenser compartment it wont stop filling and eventually the machine powers off. I posted a video of the test here: https:/ / streamable dot com/n1gw6 https:/ /player dot vimeo dot com/video/264199360 Do you know what the problem could be?
