The problem you are facing is that the record player audio outputs has a left channel, a right channel and an earth or grounding cable. If this grounding cable isn't attached, you are likely to get a hum sound. I would suggest buying a record player RCA (Ground simulating) cable or you will have to buy an inexpensive mixer that supports record players through which you can channel this record player. Once you have all these, just follow the white and red color coding to attache the right channel to the right socket.

The part required is likely to be the optical assembly which will cost more than $100 easily. This part should be available from any Panasonic parts supplier, but the cost is more that I would recommend. Check around to see if yuo can replace the unit for around that cost. In the meantime, I'll try to locate the exact part number and cost.

How do I attach a SLB technics record deck to a technics DV250 stereo system

If you plugged it into the aux or vcr input and have no sound, you probably need a phono amplifier first. Signals from turntable are very low in comparison to other sources and need to be boosted up to normal levels first.

How do I connect and hear a technics SLB210 turntable to a DV250 sound system

The signal output from the turntable is very low and needs a special input which most modern sound systems no longer have.
You will need to connect your turntable to a preamplifier.
The output from this preamplifier then goes to the auxiliary input ("AUX") of your sound system.
A good starting page to look around for a turntable preamplifier is here:

How must I connect the amplifyer V500 with my computer for recording from a tape player?

I assume you want to record from tape to computer and monitor the recordings later.
Simple three steps.
1) Connect the tape deck line out ( or labeled PLAY ) to any one of the inputs like Aux / Tuner using an 2RCA connector.
2) Connect Rec out from the SUV' to line input of your PC ( blue socket ) sound card.
3) To monitor your PC sound after recording on to Hard Disc , connect a cable between the PC sound out ( green socket ) and the the SUV Tape monitor IN ( sometimes labeled PLAY ) Now comes the tricky partbobhifi_30.jpg.When you want to record on to your PC put the source switch on the SUV to where you have connected the Tape deck ( Aux / Tuner ). On the SUV keep the Tape Monitor switch to source ( released position ). After having done the recording to monitor and hear the Hard Disk playback turn on the Tape Monitor switch ( dipress it ). The pressing of the Tape switch on the SUV lets you toggle between the source and recording - In your case Tape deck and PC

I can't find the manual to my Technics RS-TR272 Stereo Cassette Deck. How do you tape something on one cassette to another?

Place the tape you want to record into the left deck, Then the blank tape into the right deck. Press play on the left deck and record on the right deck.

It may be opposite depending on which side your recording deck is on.

Which ever deck has record, place blank cassette into that one and the cassette you want to copy into the other deck.

Hope this helps and please rate thanks

I am looking for a mode-switch for technics tape deck RS-M45

As a work-around, you could "protect" your tapes by removing the little snap-off tab in the top edge (left as viewing the side you want to play). That way the hardware can't possibly go into Record Mode and ruin a pre-recorded tape.

If you can see it, there is probably a little spring-loaded sensor arm inside the cassette well that 'feels' for the tab's presence. Is it free-moving and undamaged?

Connection between CD, EQ, SP technics

Each unit (the EQ and the Processor) should have left/right in/out rca jacks as well as L/R tape in/outs. The EQ or processor use the receiver's tape loop and then provide a tape loop to replace the one they've used on the receiver.

You plug the first unit (let's say the Sound Processor into your receiver/amp as if it were a tape deck (Processor's outs connect to reciever's tape ins (play) while the Processor's ins connect to the receiver's tape outs (record).

Then you chain the EQ off the Processor in the same way (EQ outs connect to Processor's tape ins (play) and EQ ins connect to the Processor's tape outs (record).

Last you connect the tape deck to the EQ as follows. Tape deck outs connect to EQ's tape ins (play) and the tape deck ins connect to the EQ's outs (record).

This will put both the Sound Processor and the EQ in the receiver's tape loop. In order to have all the receiver's source signals routed through them you may have to engage a Tape Monitor switch or button somwhere on your amp which will route the tape loop to your speakers.
