Go to OPTIONS, then RECALL INVOICE. highlight the invoice you want and click SELECT.

Server charged wrong card

Just VOID the invoice. This will reverse the charges. Then create a new invoice for the sale.

How to change the date of an invoice

If you have already closed the invoices and cannot void them, then you need someone to adjust their date in the database. If you can void them, then change the date of the computer to the date you want on invoice and reenter invoice. This can't be done if it was a credit card sale however. Don't forget to change back the system date.
The first solution involves several tables in database and should only be attempted by someone familiar with SQL and RPE database. I could help.

The screen says we can close due to open table, but all checks are closed

In your setup, you can tell system to ignore open invoices and process end-of-day report. But double check that you don't have an invoice on hold.

Unable to recall invoice. Click on the recall invoice button - the screen flashes like it wants to open, then returns to the previous screen. This just started.

If this is an isolated instance of just one invoice, void it and move on. If this is occurring more than once, you may need to reload RPE or SQL to correct it.

I got an order stuck on my screen in pc america and it won't delete, it keeps freezing the computer when you try to fix it, how do i delete it?

Have you tried voiding the invoice? If this also freezes the program, then you will need someone to delete the invoice manually from the database. This is usually done with an SQL management software program. CAUTION: always backup your database before attempting this.

I have invoices that are not able to get to they say in use by another server how do i get rid of them

Log in with an Administrator account. Go to your options screen. Under Cashier functions, choose recall on-hold invoices. Select the invoices in question one at a time. Once displayed, choose EDITS, then VOID INVOICE.
If you do not a permission to do this function, go to OPTIONS, ADMINISTRATIVE, EMPLOYEE MAINTENANCE. Choose the employee you are logged in as. Under FUNCTIONALITY, set VOID INVOICES to YES. Then SAVE. Then try above steps again.

Restaurant Pro Express - Will not let me do "End of Day". A Message pops up that says: "There is still 1 table currently open. Please close these tables before running End Of Day Function." I never set...

Just uncheck the option to have the End of Day check whether there are open tables.
Go to Manager/Options -> Setup -> Setup Screen -> System Access -> Time Clock -> and check "Ignore Time Clock"

Need to do a credit card refund for RPE

If you can recall invoice and you have not yet batched/settled your cards, just void the invoice and it will refund the amount to the card.

If you have settled the cards and cannot recall invoice, ring up a sale to a non-inventory item, do a price change to the negative amount of sale, and then charge this to the card. It will refund this amount to the card.

Make sure security settings will not let your employees ring up negative amounts or they could start refunding to their own card.
