SOURCE: My matsui tv 28WNO5(A) will not turn on from standby

Try pressing the small reset button on the back, it works, and you will not loose any stored information which caused the unit to go in the stand by mode.

or
Have you tried turning it off for an hour and then turning it back on. This happens to me quite often and leaving it off for a while ususally allows it to come back on. Also have you tried to press the TV/AV button on the remote as sometimes it switches to TV mode when its on standby and then standby won't work as its on TV mode and needs to go back on to AV mode. Basically just press the AV button on the digibox remote and then try standby.

or
if the batteries are removed and left for about 20 minutes before being replaced again, everything works as it should.
or
if any of the above suggestions does not work then you have to open the unit and on the main board of the tv there is a thin mini tube light like component called fuse you will have to replace that fuse .the fuse is very very cheap and you can easily get it at any electronics shop.and if still the unit does not work then there is a major fault in the power supply board and should be taken to the service center for diagnosing the fault that it is repairable or not.but i hope the above information provided will definately help you to solve your problem.

SOURCE: my matsui lcd keeps switching

sounds like a PSU power supply problem could be also one of your LCD lamps are going bad.

Get it checked, if you know what your doing then open it up, and look for bulging caps, or burnt area on the curcuit board.

Good luck

My matsui m32lw509 TV standby light flashes once when i turn it on then it just stays blank nothing powers up ???????????????

These blinks (flashes) are fault indication. By the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit stage inside the TV. Count the blinks occur at one time switch ON, carefully. Do it once again, and make sure about the number of blinks. If the flashes are continious, non-stop, the main system control IC should be suspected. If you wish to get more details, check the site linked here. It has blinking codes detail to many brand TVs. Pull up older posts. Check the site in 'Mosaic' view. It will make search easy. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/

I have a matsui 26inch tv model number MAT26LW507. I was told it had dtv built in but I cannot find or access it can anyone help?

DTV just means that it is a Digital Television (instead of analog). There is no component or part that you can "find or access"
