SOURCE: Was wondering if there is a way to mute the chime on Bunker Hill Driveway Alert System

No, you can't turn off the sound, but you can make it higher and lower, using the switch on the left side of the Receiver

My aftermarket radio is not working in my 2005 Chevy equinox. Do anyone know why? It's a new radio and all of the wires are connected properly. The chimes stopped working as well. Fuse are new as well

The chimes work through the factory radio , come out driver door speaker . There is a interface module you need to hook up on GM vehicles so aftermarket radios will work . With these newer vehicles your better off taking to someone or place that does this on a daily basis . Does it start an run ? If it does i'm surprised , factory radio is also hooked to the vehicle serial data network , class 2 . Suggest you google that .

Battery positive voltage is provided to the radio from the Radio (15A) fuse in the fuse block. The radio is grounded through a braided cable case ground. The radio is enabled/disabled by Class 2 messages from the body control module (BCM). The entertainment system on this vehicle is configured with a base and uplevel system. The base and uplevel systems contain a radio, antenna, speakers, and on some vehicles an audio amplifier.

The audible warnings alert the driver of a system concern or a critical vehicle condition. The radio generates the audible warnings. The BCM receives audible warning requests via the class 2 serial data line or the controller area network (CAN) data line. If the BCM receives multiple audible warning requests, the warning with the highest priority sounds first. The following lists the audible warning priority and the pulse rate:
Fast rate chime--200 pulses per minute
Medium rate chime--150 pulses per minute
Slow rate chime--50 pulses per minute
Single chime

What causing my driveway alert system model 93068 to beep every 30 sec or so. I changed the batteries and that did not correct the problem.

Without a manufacturer I can't tell you for sure, however there are several things that can be causing this issue. The sensors used are either infrared or ultrasonic in nature and work by receiving a bounce back signal when something moves through the sensory field. I'd check to make sure you don't have any low lying branches waving in front of the sensor, gunk, mildew, or moisture build up (or ice/frost) on the lense or receiver, etc. If it's a wired system (for signal only) check for any intermittent breaks in the wire which could be causing a false signal, and if you're in an area with people using similar technology and this is a wireless system make sure there isn't any cross-signal interference causing the issue.

The no chime and turn signal has nothing to do with the alarm. You have a issue with power supply to turn flasher and door chime. The alarm consist of The door ajar switch, body control module, front door lock switch, power door lock switch. You need to check your fuse for turn signal and the door chime

I would like to disarm anti-theft system

On my 1998 Exlorer Sport there is a set of 5 wires in a yellow sheath running from the ignition module to a brown connection point/harness in a very uncomfortable position directly under the steering column above the pedals.

I unplugged the connection at this point. This stopped the key-in-ignition chiming (part of the anti-theft feature) but I still get the chime alerts for headlights left on, initial chime when the key is turned. The pinging, or ringing chime comes from the multifunction computer located under the dash behind the radio.

Hope this help.

Have a series of 5 chimes 5 times believe its

The secondary air bag warning is an audible fault format that consists of five sets of five tone bursts, with each set of five tone bursts separated by a five second quiet period. One tone burst cycle will consist of one second ON and one second OFF. This series of five activations is repeated every 30 minutes.
This will tone if the air bag indicator is inoperative.
Suggest to have the dealer or someone with a scan tool that will communicate with the restraint system retrieve codes.
