If the handle parts are screwed together, get some plumbers tape. Wrap it with the tape at least 5 or 6 times. Screw together. If the 2 handles aren't well machined give it more wraps. You could also use silicon pipe sealer but it doubt the machine is that close of a tolerance.

SOURCE: pressure washer water leaking from gun

Depending on the manufacturer, you may purchase a rebuild kit for these very inexpensively. It's just a small pack of o-rings and maybe a spring or two. It would be a good weekend job, pretty simple to figure out, I've got faith in you. Thanks Dana

SOURCE: excessive leaking on gun handle

The pressure comes from very sealed container and with the weather hot and cold usually the housing start to expand and let the pressure out…same with the hose. Fixing the unit may be more than the price for new one… If you like to try look at hardware stores, True Value, etc. for the parts…let me know

My mcculloch fhh18a pressure washer is leaking at the handle ,I took it a part and replaced the seals on the hose know I don't remember how to put everything back together please help

I've had a look online and can't find any parts lists to give you a guide so my advice is get a neighbour with good DIY skills / local mechanic who can work out what goes where. Most bits will only fit one way. Its embarrassing I know, but look over their shoulder, then you will know next time and breeze through it with your new found knowledge.

    Water over flu

    This is usually caused by
    1. the dual pressure switch.... locateted in the top of the washer behind the control panel. It is a round switch about 60mm in diameter (usually green) with four to six wires connected to it. If you cant get a new one, try fiting a second hand one from a juncked one.

    2. there is a plastic pressure hose connected to the pressure switch that carries the pressure signal from the base of the washer bowl, if this line is leaking, it cannot supply the cut off pressure signal to the pressure switch and the washer will keep adding water. Try resealing the ends of the tube with silicon or gasket cement where it joins the washer bowl underneth and where it joins the pressure switch. Make sure you UNPLUG THE WASHING MACHINE AND RECONNECT ALL EARTH WIRES WHEN REPLACING PARTS.

My engine is working or seems to be working fine on my pressure washer but there is little pressure coming through the wand when I try to clean off my sun deck. Why is this? Thank you.

There are a couple of reasons why you might get this fault. If the machine hasn't had loads of use I would suggest checking the wand for any dirt. You should be able to push and twist the lance from the handle, and then possibly the lance in half aswell. Once you have done this just firmly tap the tubes somewhere clean. If there was any dirt in the end it should dislodge and work fine again.
While you have the lance off the handle, run the machine up and make sure you are getting plenty of flow through the handle. The other problem you could have would be worn pump parts. Servicing the pump can be tricky so if this is the case I would recomend taking it to your nearest dealer/service agent.

    No pressure

The handle needs replacing, usually these only last 1-2 years, rubber o-ring breaks down in the handle, it can be replaced but a good chance it will still leak. You won't have good pressure until the leak is fixed. I would say the pump is doing it's job. I just replaced a handle on my electric washer, which was doing the same thing yours is.

The high pressure hose has been cut. is there anyway to safely join together. IT is a 2400 psi high press water hose

There are hose kits to join the hose together. Do not try it with just a clamp as it might result in injurie. I am guessing you are not talking about a washing machine but pressure washer. A new pressure hose is not to expensive. You can get them for every brand
