Question about Computers & Internet
Hello Delilah.... this question is too complicated for a forum of this type. I suggest that you go to Suggest-A-Fix.com and post in the hardware section. Back & forth communication is a lot easier there. It is a free computer help forum and I hang out there along with a bunch of knowledgeable techs.
Off the top, your problem could be several reasons; if you can boot into Safe Mode and it runs cleanly, then you have a corruption in your operating system. Probably it is not hardware since Windows runs smoothly in Safe Mode (that's good!) and can be caused by a corrupted system file, or possibly a virus, likely a rootkit trojan. If you do online banking or financial things, immediately disconnect from the internet and do not reconnect until this problem is resolved. If you decide to post at S-A-F, please post the make of your computer, the operating system, and any details you think are pertinent.

Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
