  1. Right click on the speaker icon in your system tray and select "Open Volume Controls"
  2. If there is a "Stereo Wide" or "3D Depth" slider, click the "Mute" box.
  3. If not, go to Options-->Properties.
  4. For "Playback", enable any boxes next to "Stereo Wide" or "3D Depth", then repeat step 2.

If you are using media player to listen to your audio files then go to 'view' 'show enhancements' and make sure the graphic equaliser is set how you want it, while here click on 'default' and lots of options will come up on how you want to listen to your music.

hope this helps

Reverb Problem

First, move to a different room. If the problem persists, put absorptive material around the mic and/or around the room (like acoustic panels made of rockwool or fiberglass).

Just got a new Marshall DSL40C. The reverb does not work on either gain control or with the footswitch. Why?

Nothing wrong with the amp. Google it- these amps have extremely weak reverb. All of them are the same. It's the one weak point about these amps. And I love mine. I mic it when we gig. Sounds awesome both clean and driven. But you'll have to get a separate reverb pedal if you want "girl crush" or "pipeline" reverb. Don't listen to the above posters. It's the way these amps are.

My voice keeps echoing and playing back at me

Does the laptop have a built-in microphone? Make sure the microphone output is turned off (muted) in the playback volume settings. It could be at just the right setting to be causing a decaying feedback. Also, many sound softwares today have other features for echo, reverb, etc. My Creative one has a vast selection of simulated reverb like Concert Hall, Bathroom, Basement, Cathedral, even one call Haunted Cavern. Look for these in the advanced options section of your sound controls. These normally aren't a part of the standard windows volume control. There should be a shortcut similar to Sound Mixer to access them, if you have it.
