Eric,

I just bought a Central Pneumatic air compressor from Harbor Freight and fortunately I have the manual and the contact number for you to call for parts 1-800-444-3353. This number and your model and serial number of your tools should get you what you need. Hope this helps

    Have you repaired your compressor?

I have a Central Pneumatic air compressor and loved it until the one-way valve quit working. Had the part no# and ordered a replacement. It was cheap and easy to order....but that was 6 months ago and I am still being told to be patient as it ..."will take a couple more weeks!" I will never buy any thing beyond a hand tool from Harbor Freight again.

Can I use another Central Pneumatic pump on my 61490 air compressor?

sure harbor freight tools sells new air compressor pumps, just be sure new one matches the R.P.M of the motor or I may damage it if it turns too fast of may not make enough air if it goes to slow , also be aware if belt pulley changes its diameter then pump speed will also change

If it is a head gasket leak and no gasket available. I would make one. You will need to buy a piece of high temp gasket material like garlock and it needs to be the correct thickness as the old material/gasket. Remove the old gasket and trace out a new one and cut it out. Or you can locate 2 bolt holes one on each side of the head put 2 holes in the material and use the bolts to hold it in place. Use a small hammer and tap around the edges. If done correctly while tapping it will cut the material. you can do bolt holes, the complete gasket like this.

I have a Central Pneumatic, 21 Gallon, 3HP air compressor. The compressor is exiting air through exthaust port.

If air leaks when motor is off, fault most likely in-tank check valve. Follow discharge air line from pump to tank. Brass/steel valve at tank is the check valve. Remove hose to valve and check for leak. Replace as needed. If air is leaking while motor is running fault could be reed valves in head. Faulty reed valves in head, or torn head gaskets will cause very hot discharge air and tank will most likely never fill to shut off (or take a very long time to fill)

Need diaphram for regulator for central pneumatic 42321

I used a FORD master cylinder gasket number 42098. It is the right overall diameter and I used a hole punch, slightly oiled, in my drill press to put in the four screw holes. The hardest thing is getting the nuts back on the screws to hold the switch together. But it works for $5.
