Kenmore 110.66902690 electric dryer does not dry completely

Dear Barry,
Try 2 things.
One, be certain the clothes are very dry coming out of the washing machine.
If the washer leaves the clothes wet ( like the belt might be slipping), it can take the dryer forever to finish drying the clothes.
You can tell by hand-wringing them.
You should not be able to get any water out of them by hand-wringing after they have spun dry in the washer.
Two, try running a load with the vent hose unhooked off the back of the dryer.
If this fixes the problem, you are having a "clogged vent" issue somehow.
Be blessed.

Whirlpool gas dryer takes longer to dry though it heats up and turns, yet it has a humming/buzzing noise. What could be the problem?

Had the same problem. There was a bit of a kink in the vent duct which caused lint to build up in duct and also inside the dryer itself over years. I replaced the duct and took dryer apart and cleaned out the air passages. It works great now. As for the humming, mine started about 2 1/2 years ago and I still don't know why.

I have a Whirlpool model LER4634EQ1 gas dryer that will not heat up? It will run but will not heat up? Does anyone have an idea as to why?

Well I can't really tell you how to fix this as your dealing with EXPLOSIVE GAS so call your local gas company to help with the problem. It's normally the electronic ignition or unit needs to be cleaned but call someone qualified in Gas appliances.

Gas will not turn on to heat dryer...igniter is ok...tested that...got new solinoids for gas valve seems to be back to timer but do not know for sure took that apart and points seem to be ok no hot spots...

Sometimes the heat sensor/ igniter gets carboned up and needs to be lightly sanded or cleaned for it to sense heat. That could prevent the main gas valve from opening and staying open. Also, does your unit have a heat limit switch or thermal switch that could be faulty? Check the wiring diagram.

Dryer not drying

Sounds like you have a ventalation problem. The clothes heat up, but without airflow, the moisture remains. First check the hose from the back of the dryer to the wall. Is it plugged, kinked, or restricted? No? Turn your dryer on and remove the hose. Do you feel pressure coming from the back of the unit? No? You need to take it apart and clean the internal airway. If you do feel pressure, reconnect it to the wall and start your dryer. Walk to the outside of the house. Do you feel a fair amount of air coming out? No? There are companies that will clean your vent in the phone book. There are also vent cleaning brushes you can buy at hardware and appliance part stores.
