Question about Sharp LC46SB54U 46 in. LCD TV
It is most likely an issue with your power supply board. This TV has been known to have Dry Solder points on the board that like to suddenly go broke. If you have any knowledge of basic electronics and soldering, you can attempt to repair this yourself. The board is where the power plug receptacle is, and you will have to take off the back of the TV. Look for the main leads and see if there is a gap present. If so, resolder the connection(s) and try to power on. Worst case, the board is shot, and you will have to find a replacement if not under warranty.
I had to do this to mine.....didnt have to buy the board. When I was pricing them, they were around $100-150.
Hope this helps!
