As long as you have service and the jetpack is turned on it is transmitting a wifi signal. On the bottom right hand side of your computer screen is an internet icon--look where your time display is and this icon is just before the time. Click this internet icon and it should recognize the Jetpack signal. If it does, it will say "connections are available" right click on that and it will show available connections including the jetpack. Right click on the identified jetpack signal and then click on "connect" and enter the security key and now you should have full internet access. If, when you click on the internet icon, it does not say "connections available", then click on "troubleshoot" and let the device tell you what the issue is preventing connection.

Does the power button light up when it is charging? If not, either the charger, battery, or device itself is defective. It could be one of the three or a combination of two. Well, sorry to say you have struck out, first it's Verizon, then a JetPack and finally D-Link. The only way I was able to get mine working was to switch to a Cisco device for the link, drop the D-link!

I had them and others. They do not work well and are not worth the money. If you have cable with a wifi hotspot option, you would be better off using that.. The Jetpack sucks big time. Cancel the mifi service.
