2001 Grand Prix. How do I clear tehe anti-theft security lockout?

The system only activates like this if there is a defect in the systems operation, you must have the security system scanned to see what is causing the unwanted activation. This is a dealer level repair.

How do I fix an F40 code on a kenmore elite rlectric range model #790.46709603

The "F40" fault code indicates a Cooktop Lockout error. There is a "Lockout" control board that locks out the cooktop from operating whenever the "Clean" cycle is used. It's not normal to display "F40" unless there is a "Lockout" or an "EOC" (electronic oven control) failure. It may need one or the other or both boards replaced. If the cooktop will operate after the range has cooled and unlocked then it may need the EOC and not the Lockout board. If you can ignore the beeping and the F40 and the range will heat up again in the clean cycle and complete the clean cycle then it could have a faulty Lockout board. Here a link to a YouTube video with the instructions on how to access and replace the EOC.

Here is the lockout board if you need to order it.
Here is the EOC board if you should need it also.

All parts come with a 365 day, any part, any reason return policy.

Turned my furnace off while going away on vacation. When I came back, the furnace would not turn back on. Lockout light is blinking.

with some thermostats you must cycle the power after a lockout relay energizes, so turn the stat off and back on and then check operations to see what caused it to lockout, often the lockouts are on low and hi pressure safeties, so you may have a refrigerant charge problem

Gas furnace short cycling. checked by experts no solution

This is tough one. If you have an older mercury type thermostat, behind the cover theirs a small copper pointer that points to some numbers. This is your heat anticapator. This setting has to match your milliamp draw of all the controls on your furnace. If set to low it over heats and fools the thermostat into thinking its satisfied. Move the point to a higher setting in little increments. Hope this works for you. Can't help with the vibration without hearing it.

Lennox Furnace

Make sure to check and see if you do not have any bare wires touch ground or if you have any wires pinched causing a short to ground. Safety first so turn of power before checking. Also check to see if any wires on unit are touching one another. Hope this helps you.
