Usually you can remove the kick strip by putting a small screwdriver in the gap and levering the panel off to find the pump filter behind

Blue cleaning light came on; how to I fix this

If it is on a washing machine run a cleaning cycle and clean the filter normally in the front of the machine. It is behind the small door at the bottom. Be sure you have a small bucket to drain filter in as it will still have some water in it. Hope this helps.

Fowl odor in front loader

Clean out the small holes in the gray door gasket (at the bottom) to allow water to drain back into tub. Open access door at bottom left on front of machine, use small hose to drain remaining water from machine, remove and clean out filter there. Re-install. Run washer on the tub clean cycle if you have that cycle, or if not, use the longest, hottest cycle you can, but make sure to use a commercial washer cleaner like Affresh, Washer Magic, Whirlaway hot tub cleaner, etc., with no clothes in the washer. After cleaning tub, make sure you only use one tablespoon of HE detergent per cycle, and only one teaspoon of fabric softener per cycle if you use softener.

Hi, I have a Fisher Paykel DD603I (integrated) dishdrawer unit. The bottom drawer soap dispenser has water in it after it runs (and leftover soap), and there is a small amount of water sitting in the...

Dishwashers use Bi-Metal strip to allow the dispenser to open/close. This strip when heat up causes the soap door spring to open up the dispenser. If this strip is not heated doesn't allow the door to open. The strip may not be getting 120V or maybe disconnected. Newer (plastic liner) dishwashers use a wax motor to open the soap dispenser. The plunger inside the wax motor slowly moves and pushes the plunger and door open. And, if this wax motor doesn't receive 120 volts, then it'll not work. Please check the voltage to the wax motor/Bi-metal strip; also inspect the connections to these. Hope this helps...

I need to clean the filter of my LG WD-10112FD Washer Machine, but I don't know where is located, can you please help me?

Pump filter is behind access door or plastic kick strip at floor level on front of the machine. Make sure you drain the machine first because all the water in the machine will drain from here. Unscrew the plastic inspection plug and clean. Also make sure that there are no small objects like coins lodged in the impeller. It can help if you can lean the machine back against the wall..Not so far that the back feet can slip.....Nomess

Hello, I get a E:13 error code and the door will not unlock. Any ideas?

On the bottom right there is a round door with a small hole. Insert a small rod and push slightly, you will feel a spring action, then turn to the side and the door will come out. Inside you will see a large twist handle ( this is the clean out for the water pump) THERE WILL BE WATER THAT COMES OUT, BECAUSE YOUR FILTER IS PROBABLY CLOGGED, THAT IS THE E-13 CODE) Remove the door, clean the filter, clean up the mess and this will probably fix the problem.

How to clean the bottom filter

Don't know how old your machine is but on my wtl5400 the bottom flap is opened by:
1. open the drier door
2. note small round button on the lower right hand side of the drum surround
3. press the button which will spring forward then
4. lower filter cover springs off giving acess to filter drawer
NB if the filter is over full the button will spring open itself as a gentle hint
NNB YOU CANNOT CLOSE DOOR WHILE THE BUTTON IS EXTENDED so take care door will only close when lower cover has been correctly replaced relocating the button flush with the front of the machine
