The whole collar or do you just mean the blue silicone seal?

You can buy the blue seal on eBay. Simply undo the Philips screw in the centre of the 'shower' in the group head, take out the two shower screens and the blue seal will be fairly easy to remove.

Pressure valve

Generally, this is not a problem with the machine but with how you're loading the coffee! Sounds typical of one of these problems:-

Not enough coffee in the basket
Coffee should be filled and tamped to about 3mm below the rim.
Coffee grind not fine enough (too coarse)
Do you grind your own coffee or buy ready-ground? If buying ready-ground, make sure it is for espresso (fine) and not for filter or plunger.
If you have your own grinder, (like the Sunbeam Conical Grinder), then make sure the coffee hopper on top is securely connected to the grinder. I'd been using mine for years on the the finest grind (1) not realising the hopper wan't on right. Only discovered it when I took it apart to clean. Now my grinder is on 9-10 to grind for espresso.
Coffee not tampered down hard enough
You do need to provide a reasonable degree of pressure to tamp he coffee down just right.
Group head not turned tight enough
Push the group handle as far to the right as it will go, then ease it back just a fraction to have the right pressure.

Perform a full descale. Take out the water reservoir and remove the Anti-calc filter. Put in 500ml (1 pint) water with 3-4 tablespoons of white vinegar (or apple cider vinegar). Put the water canister back in, the turn on the machine and press the manual button. Allow half of the liquid to go through, then stop. Leave the machine for about ten minutes, and then run the rest through. Empty the water reservoir and rinse, put back the Anti-Calc filter, put in another 500ml and press the manual button to flush it all through.

How to change shower headplates and seal on EM6910

Shower headplates should never need replacing. If they get clogged, pop them in a bowl, our vinegar over them and leave them for 10 minutes.

You can buy the blue seal on eBay. Simply undo the Philips screw in the centre of the 'shower' in the group head, take out the two shower screens and the blue seal will be fairly easy to remove.

Are martingale collars good for all types of dogs?

Although originally designed for greyhounds and whippets, many dogs can be trained on this type of collar. It works well on dogs with necks larger than their heads - such as bulldogs.

The exhaust on my rear cylinder is making excessive noise, i'm not complaining but on inspection, the manifold is split, it seems to have made out of 2 pieces! why would any1 do that??? shoud i replace...

Muffler putty, no. If you have it off, take it to the local welder. They can tell you if it is fixable. Usually your best bet is to just spend the money and order a new original equipment replacement part (if a good salvage/used part is not available. Be sure to replace the exhaust gasket in the head when you put the pipe back on. EBAY may be a good source of a good used head pipe.

Hi i have bodum grandos espresso, i need a new group head and water tank where can i find in Sydney?

Hi I have the same machine that has been taken apart and so it's now a pile of spare parts. When you say new group head, do you mean the collar of the group head, or do you need a new group handle and basket ? I live in Sydney if you want to get in touch.

If my front pasenger is burned out is it just the

This vehicle is new enough it is just the Bulb for the head light. Open the hood and look in the area just behind the head light and you will see the wires leading to it. You should also see a collar looking connection you can unscrew to remove the bulb assembly. Remove this and unplug the bulb and insert the replacement and re-insert the assembly screwing the collar down. Make sure you get the collar screwed back down completely, this is what makes the Headlight assembly water tight.
