SOURCE: GE PSS26 NGP Ice maker
Hi Vadim, You should have a steady light showing on the ice maker. If the lead is flashing, it's either a thermistor failure or ejector not home. The reasons why the ejector blades will not home is because of a magnet failure, control board failure or a stalled motor. The feeler arm could also be sticking. The control board contains 2 sensors that are activated by magnets. One magnet is attached to the end of the ejector arm to determine whether the ejector blades are at home. The other is located on the ice sensing arm, lets the control know whether the arm has reached a fully extended position. In a lot of these, I find the magnets broken. I think you can save yourself a lot of trouble by just replacing this ice-maker. Catriver.

The icemaker is bad . You have an electronic icemaker and the internal boards cannot take the freezing and the heat (freezing moisture) . Just replace the icemaker .

Take the front cover off of the ice maker. Under the cover there are some test points, V stands for valve and should have 120, L stands for line and should have 120, N is nuetral and should have continuity to ground. If all of these check good replace the ice maker, If not troubleshoot the wiring. The fastest way to find out if it is the ice maker it to jumpre the two middle terminals on the ice maker plug. If it spits out water replace the ice maker.
