The machine stopped working and tripped the fuse box i changed the fuse still not working

Something electrical has blown in the machine causing the fuse to blow. After replacing the fuse , the machine isn't going because whatever blew is now "open circuit" Have a look for obvious blow outs on any of the switches, control boards , all other electrical components and the wiring. look for telltale black marks where something has "blown" on the cabinet or around the components.

Has the fuse blown on my machine? It doesn't turn on anymore. I changed the bulb and accidentally put in a 25W instead of a max 15W and it turned on for a few mins until i started sewing and it cut.

Hello Jess

Your manual is listed below, but I don't see a fuse or a reset button at a quick glance.

However, open up the area where the bulb is and look for a reset button. Also look on the foot pedal. Plug something else into the wall outlet to verify that a breaker hasn't tripped.

Did the machine work with no bulb alight? Wondering if the bulb must be working and present for the machine to function for safety reasons?

You know there is an On/Off switch above the power cord on the back of the machine, PAGE 6, Figure 1 in the manual?

Bosch SRS53C02GB/27 tripped circuit fuse, Changed plug fuse still no sign of life

Has the circuit breaker / fuse in the meter box tripped or blown as well? If the machine tripped or blew a fuse, it is common for the heater element to be the cause or you have a water leak internally and its shorted something.

2003 chevy s10 - keeps blowing out AC fuse. Will work for a couple minutes then compressor quits working. Check the fuse, it is blown out. Put in a new fuse, works a couple minutes, then quits, fuse blown...

Unplug the a/c compressor, there will be a plug near the pulley. Install a new fuse. Start the vehicle and turn the a/c on. Wait about the same amount of time it took for the fuse to blow in the past. Did the cues blow? If no replace the a/c compressor, the clutch has gone bad. If yes, than the wiring between the fuse and the relay or the relay to the comps sore is grounded. A careful inspection of the wiring should reveal the problem.

My aircondition on my 99 montana quit working.Replaced the blown fuse & it worked for less than a minute & fuse got blown again. Is the compressor bad?

The compressor runs off of the belt from the motor so its not likely to be the compressor but it may be the electric clutch on the compressor, or a short in the wiring, or the blower motor fan could be getting hung up. I'd buy a couple more fuses and run it for a minute a couple more times while listening for any abnormal sounds or check some of the wires you may find areas where the wires rub up against something or were accidentally damaged by any other work performed. Try running the heat and see if that trips the fuse, then run the fan on low speed, ect.
