Gas throttle is sticking rpm is high

Could be the throttle blade is sticking (clean with spray cleaner) or cable itself may be sticking. Unhook cable from throttle to see which.

Can I advance the timing on a Toyota 2003 4.7v8

The CPU will control the timing advance to keep it correct for rpm's and mixture settings . If you can turn the distributor ( if you do not have individual plug coils ) I feel that the CPU will move it back electronically as it works of the cam/crank position sensors position

I unplugged the little cables in the F_PANEL to the right bottom in my GIGABYTE GA-G41M-COMBO motherboard and the CPU is working after i reconnected them the but nothing appears on the monitor i hear the...

The problem most likely isn't with your f_panel your motherboard should have a manual that tells you how to plug everything into your f_panel correctly.
Ensure that there are no empty power connections on your motherboard. You board may not be powering its video component. If you have a graphics card, ensure if it requires a power connect that it is properly plugged in.
If this doesn't work I suggest your return your motherboard as it is not functioning properly.

My screen has shrunk, there is a black frame around it that i cant get rid of. Iv tried changing the resolution and re-starting my computer nothong has helped

Use the OSD (On Screen Display) controls on your monitor to change the "vertical-size' and "horizontal-size" of your picture.

Then, try a different monitor, to see if your monitor is the problem, or if your video-card is the problem.

My AOC 17" computer monitor has turned to a yellow/mustard colour

Hi and welcome to FixYa,

Initially, post back the exact model number. Offhand, some ideas to explore/consider:

  • if it were a conventional/CRT type, then possibilities are:
  1. video cable. Try replacing or twisting the end closer to the CPU. If that would correct, then a replacement is required. If none is readily available, a temporary workaround is to "wing" the position where it will work and secure the cable in that position with the use of "plastic ties";
  2. color drive transistor. There would be 3 color drive transistors at the small square PCB at the rear of the CRT. One of them could be faulty or cold solder issue. If you have experience with electronics and working in high voltage areas, then try re-soldering the pins of each transistors or replace as needed.
  • if it were an LCD type, then possibilities are:
  1. video cable. Try replacing or twisting the end closer to the CPU. If that would correct, then a replacement is required. If none is readily available, a temporary workaround is to "wing" the position where it will work and secure the cable in that position with the use of "plastic ties";
  2. video interface. Internal electronics of the LCD monitor. The best approach would be to access and reference a Service Manual.
Check and perform preliminary visual or necessary inspection. Pls post back result(s). Good luck and Thank you for using FixYa.

Installing

Hi tatieyanah...
For installing your DVD Writer follow these steps...

First , Place your DVD Writer in a Suitable position and fix it by the screws.

1. From your CPU SMPS(i.e, power box) you will have many set of wires coming with white plugs.Take one of those wires. Plug that into your writer's back side.REMEMBER you should plug it in the way that Yellow color wire should in the outer end and two black wires in the middle and red at the inner end.
2. If you dont find any wire in your CPU , use the one which is given to you ,which is a splitter in the DVD box.
3. Use the data cable given along with the DVD writer. Connect that Data cable( cable which is Wide and looks like stripes) from ur Mother board to the back side of the DVD writer. Take care that it is not connected upside down.

IF U NEED MORE INFO, REFER "http://www.computer-adviser.com/how-to-install-dvd-writer.html".
Post me your replies.....Bye ...take care...
