Possibly a door switch, or starting switch near timer assembly. it could also be a bad breaker, dryers have a double breaker, even if you are getting electricity to part of your dryer 1 bad breaker might not let the rest of the dryer work. With electrical experiance, and elect. tools, have some one test breakers and plug voltage.

SOURCE: Dryer won't start...
if timer is timing down then it has power so fuse is ok. there is no internal fuse. two things to check if you can hear a low humming noise when drum should be turning, then the motor capacitor is faulty - very common fault and part not dear. no need to get bosch part - you should be able to source locally.to test for this fault, take top off and push the drum. if it starts turning then this confirms the fault check also door catch - this operates an internal switch nand if catch is broken then appliance will not start

SOURCE: Maytag Neptune gas dryer beeps.
NO RESETS OTHER THAN TO UNPLUG THE DRYER FOR 5 MINUTES, THEN RECONNECT POWER. ON ANY ELECTRONIC CONTROL, THIS WILL RESET THE CONTROL'S MICROCOMPUTER. IF THAT DOESN'T SOLVE THE PROBLEM, THE TOUCH SWITCH MAY BE FAULTY.

A quarter was lodged on the thermal fuse , located below the lint screen on the blower exhaust housing, on our dryer. Remove the front lower panel , 2 screw, and you'll see 2 fuses. I suspect that our control board is burnt.

I had a similar problem years back. It was the ignitor. The ignitor is a ceramic like piece that heats up (glows red) that ignites the gas. Typically when that goes, you will see some white residue build up where it cracked, thus breaking the electrical connection. This thing works like a heating element on an electric stove, but rougher looking.
The part was about $30 at my local parts store. I bought an extra one just in case so I have it on hand. I installed it with common tools.
You can check it to see if you lost connection by using a volt meter.
