Your looking at a Job that takes about 4 to 5 Hours of labor. Reclaim machine,Vacuum pump, Torch, Silver Solder, Freon, Nitrogen,Liquid line drier, Possible suction line drier if it was a shorted compressor windings. New start components. and then maybe a cap tube depending on what caused the compressor to fail. So with that said you can expect to spend $1500 to $2300.

SOURCE: How To Replace Relay On True T-72 Reachin

If it's mounted inside a box along with the capacitors there is 1 screw holding it from the back. Often you have to unmount the box from the compressor to access the screw.

What is clixon

It is an overload protection device that cuts the power to the compressor if it draws too much current or overheats. Usually fitted close to the compressor body in a black box with the relay. Test by making sure you have continuity between the pins

The compressor is running but the fans are not spinning so no cold is coming out.

Coil must be cold enough for the fan delay to turn fans on. If it is and no fans replace delay

Fans not running, everthing else runs. True model T-72F reach in

In most cases, there is a device located in or on the evap that senses the temp of the evap. This can be a defrost terminator/fan delay. Sometimes they are separate devices and sometimes they are a 2 in 1 device. If the evap does not get cold enough, the fans will not come on. Usually about +20 degree F. It is to prevent circulating warm air after a defrost and to keep from overloading the compressor after a defrost as heat is generated by electric elements. I would look to see if the defrost terminator / fan delay has malfunctioned, then I would check the refrigeration system performance.
