Question about Samsung SCX-4100 All-In-One Laser Printer
When I print a sheet all words will appear as they should. However multiple words are being copied lightly through-out the whole page, over top of each line. It's like the roller is retaining wet ink?
Thanks in Advance!
Put the printer into the 1200 low resolution mode. Then go to Control panel --> Printers ---> Select your printer --> Right click --> properties --> Configure tab --> Print Density ---> Make it the lightest that is 1 and check.
Although there is an issue with the cartridge, this process will give you significantly better result. In my case the ghost repeat vanished. But a few micro dots can be seen if you take a very very close look. Good luck for all who may have this issue.

It will be one of two things Drum cart or fuser, from your description it sounds like the drum, it has a rubber blade on it that wipes old image from it. They wear and dont perform properly. Replace drum
The only other likely possibilty is worn fuser roller (hot bit at rear
) To find if it is fuser or drum stop print mid way and remove cart to see print, if image is bad before print has gone threw fuser(wipes off) then it is drum, if print is ok pre fuser then it is fuser roller causing prob.

Tips for a great answer:
Go to printer properties and see whether
'Paper source' has being set to 'Manual feed'.
Then change it to 'Auto Feeder' or 'Auto'.
(Different words might have been used in
different printer models instead these words)
This is a suggestion. This might work or might
not. Have several papers ready in the Auto tray (usually at the bottom) before
