Headphones will not be recognised unless that have a driver with them or an internal sound card.

Why wont my computer recognize my speakers? My computer is gateway with windows vista on it. In my device manager it has a caution sign but the logitech website says the speakers dont need drivers. Please...

Those speakers are meant to just plug into a sound card or onboard sound device or any sound device that has headphone jacks e.g. iPod. They don't provide feedback to the PC, so there is absolutely no need for drivers, which is why you don't see them in device manager. Think of them as a glorified pair of headphones.

Logitech speakers not working no sound

Turn off the speakers. Restart the computer with the speakers off. Once fully booted turn on the speakers. I had this problem where with the speakers on when the computer was started the sound card was not even recognized. Loading drivers had no affect. Good luck.

Try changing the Windows Default Audio devices
  1. Go to control Panel
  2. Sounds and audio devices
  3. The Audio tab
  4. Then change the Sound Recording Device to Logitech Headphone INPUT
Hopefully this will work

The display on my Logitech Harmony 520 has gone out. The remote lights up and controls everything but you cant see any of the letters on the screen to know what you are selecting.

Try opening the Logitech Harmony remote software on your computer, then log in. Update the firmware. Don't plug the USB cable into the remote until you are requested to by the program. It should recognize the remote and let you know, even if the screen isn't showing anything. Try to update and see if this helps.

My webcam does not show up on my computer the deskstop or in any documents it only make sounds when i put it in and out

Dear Crissy,

only pluggin in your logitech webcam wont work out.you got to install the drivers for the respective webcam.in case u've installed n even then it doesn't show up,then jus search for ur device in the start search.this will find out your webcam location.if even this doesn't work out, then open up the systems in the control panel, then choose the device manager in top left corner, you can see your device in the options available.right click it n do upgrade.i hope this would solve your problem..

please rate this solution.Thank you
