Hi -- I think I have the answer for you. First of all back up your contacts to your SIM card. Normally, they are stored on the phone. After you have backed up the contacts, do a "Master Reset" under settings, security. Your contacts will be restored back on to your phone. You will have to re-adjust settings to where you had them before. I hope this helps,
