### How to change results to pounds and ounces

If you get the results in pounds, and need to convert it to pounds and ounces, you need to get the decimal part of the answer and multiply it by 16, since there are 16 ounces in a pound.

For example, if you get 3.45 pounds, you have to get the decimal portion by itself by subtracting 3 and multiply the result 0.45 by 16.
I get 3 pounds and 7.2 ounces.

Good luck.

### Weight of a gram of sunflower seeds

A gram of sunflower seeds weighs exactly one gram or one-thousandth of a kilogram.

If you want the Imperial equivalent there is about 28 grams to the ounce so one gram will equal one twenty-eighth of an ounce.

Measuring such small weights requires a different measuring scale and the apothecary measures are appropriate: the dram is one sixteenth of an ounce.
For rough measure purposes one gram is about a quarter of a dram.

For exact purposes all the conversions can be found by google.

For practical purposes it would be better to measure out one ounce, one half-ounce or one quarter-ounce of seed whichever can be done most accurately and then divide it by eye into 28, 14 or 7 equal portions in order to obtain approximately one gram.
If greater accuracy a chemical balance would be required.

### How many cups are there in 650 grams of yogurt

Gram is a measure of weight; cup is a measure of volume--so this can only be determined by weighing 650 grams of yoghurt (about 23 ounces) and pouring it into a measuring cup.

### How many tablespoons of ground coffee are needed per cup of water in the Smart Brew coffee maker?

For ground coffee, use 1-1/2 (one and one-half) tablespoons of beans per 6 ounces of water.

For whole bean coffee, use two tablespoons of beans per 6 ounces of water.

Coffee strength is a very personal preference, so use these numbers as a guideline for middle-of-the-road coffee, and adjust to make the coffee that you like to drink.

### We are opening a fast food shop in Florida and need to know how many cones can you get out of one gallon of hard ice cream and one mix of soft serve ice cream. Do hot dogs sell better than hamburgers and...

Hi. A typical soda fountain-style ice cream scoop--a #8 food portioning scoop--holds 1/2 cup of ice cream. One gallon is equal to 16 cups, so there are 32 scoops of ice cream in a one-gallon container. Each scoop should weigh 4 ounces. A strong handed scooper can put an ice cream shop into bankruptcy so ALWAYS weigh each and every scoop.

With soft serve, one gallon of mix makes 36 - 4 ounce cones. Once again weighting the cones is key.

The hot dog vs hamburg ? depends totally on the sizes, the toppings and the type of roll used. Experiment there but start out with hot dogs to keep it simple. Regarding chips and fries, once again chips are simple with little waste, cold fries often go in the trash. Good luck. J.
