What is the job outlook of a sonographer?

If you have a look at Bureau of Labour Statistics, you will find that the career of an ultrasound technician grows very quickly. And this may be due to the cause that the need for the healthcare monitoring is required by the aging population. And with this, the need and opportunity for them is also arising. One can also progress to the management positions like - senior technologist, program director, department supervisor, clinical instructor, as well as can opt for business-based positions with ultrasound manufacturers. Is college actually worth the time and money?

It depends on what job you want in life. Some jobs require a college degree, and usually (not all the time) they are better pay in the long run. But the long run is around 11 years to make more money than you would have been for working a non degree job for those 15 years and not paying for college. Both ways are not wrong. There are plenty of people who live full and happy lives without going to college, and plenty who do the same with a college degree. If you want to keep working you could also apply as a part time student and just take a couple of classes a semester. The main idea is to do something you are passionate about and that's how you can be successful.

Gap year

Yes a gap year could affect study because for some people is hard to get back to school ing mode. If there is a distractions that will affect the current year or require funds for school then maybe is okay to have a gap year. The longer you wait to start college the longer it takes to complete schooling and the jobs that might be available when you would have graduated may not be there. Hope this helps.

I wanting decreesing my hours at work from 35 to 24 and wanting how to write?

Dear mr or mrs so and so:

With this letter I am formally requesting, if possible, the decrease of my working ours by 30% of my current time. Intead of 35 hrs I need to work only 24 since I will be attending college and I need time to be in classes and study afterwards. I truly love my job here and want to keep it, so I am hopping that some arrangement can be done so that I can do both. I will be awaiting your reply anxiously,

Best regards

Can you correct my sentences?

I cannot afford to get sick because I have a full-time job and I attend college at night. Health insurance is too expensive for me at this time as I pay for rent, food, clothes, transportation, and tuition. Sometimes, I get a cold or flu and use only aspirin and cough drops to get by. I cannot afford to miss classes because It would be a waste of my tuition. My job does not have paid sick days, so I cannot afford any absences. Illness has no place on my calendar or in my budget, however, illness finds a place in my life.

  4. Take the Optometry Admissions Test during your second or third year in college. The test will measure your academic and scientific knowledge.

  5. Apply for admission to optometry schools accredited by the Council on Optometric Education of the American Optometric Association. Keep in mind that competition is great.

  6. Complete your optometry school's four-year course of study and pass a written and clinical state board exam.
