I have similar problem - and have been given the following advice: use premium fuel (91 octane or put in octane boost to regular gas) replace distributor cap, rotor, wires, and spark plugs (this is a common issue for this tractor) It always seems like a fuel issue but works well for a spell after replacing ignition parts. thoughts?
