Question about Kodak ESP 3 Multifunction Printer/ Copier/ Scanner
There is no paper jam. I set up my printer per instructions was going to set up with USB cable. I had a CD in the drive tray and when I tried to take it out I realized it was broken. It would not open. So I decided to use it as stand alone. I put a picture in to copy and the paper jam came up. I've cleaned everything and I'm sure no packaging remains. I can't get it to reset!
You should go to the website of whoever manufactures your printer. They always have drivers for their printers that you should be able to download and install in just a few minutes.
If you're absolutely, 100% sure that there is no paper jam, I would recommend just unplugging and restarting the printer.
Also, it may read a paper jam if you insert too much paper at one time. If you have a lot of paper installed in the printer, try taking out all but 10 sheets, and retry printing. My printer has a tray that accepts 150 sheets, but it "jams" if you put even close to that many in.
You should make sure that you aren't putting the paper too far in as well. Try pulling it back a few millimeters, as it may read a jam if the paper is pushed into the printing area.
