Lift bonnet, peel away rubber seal underneath windscreen towards passenger side, you should have water collecting, pull rubber bung out and water will drain. Best just to throw the rubber price away, it's not needed.

SOURCE: My opel vectra leaked rain water possibly through

Yes it sounds like the drain pipe from the vent infront of the w/screen was blocked up as usual and it comes out down either side under the front mudgaurds as its the place were the wiper motor is fitted and the place that ****** the air from out side for your heater .so when its bunged up then yes it will overflow into the car through the heater vents,,so keep them clean with a 10lbs of air from a compressor.
DO about just after summer each year.. RON
and blow from the pipe under the mudgaurd up as it will only take you 10 minutes that way, just find the drain pipe ..

My vectra had water in ns footwell. It was caused by blocked drain in cabin air intake under bonet. Water filled up until it overflowed in to the car through the cabin heater air intake past the pollen filter.
most cars have similar air intake so check that

clean the pollen filter out or change its under the passenger side dash ,but as yours is a funny on the wrong side of the road i dont know where or how it is ,now a proper car what you call a left hooker i know exactly .My daughter has a RHD one of these in my garden waiting to go back to NON great britain but its dark out now..Heard the latest on the spanish grapevine doing the rounds and thats the english OAPs are braving the channel in small boats just like dunkirk days so they can smugggle into the back of lorry destroy their passports and claim more money than their pension is worth ,is this true by any chance ?Thinking about pollen filter i am sure its on the passenger side behind the glove box but some like the focus its to the side of the throttle but these are LHD cars so it could still be passenger side but lower down ,it will be after the fan but not always as some cars have the filter under where the wiper arms are ,anyway just look for it and you will find.

2004 passat alarm keeps going off where is the fuse to turn it off.

This could be serious, you need to lift up the carpet in the passenger footwell or drivers which ever continent you are on, and check for water leakage, water tends to break through the seals on the pollen filter housing and come down the a pillar over all your wiring and into the footwell, the seat willneed to be removed and check the the convenience controll unit has not been soaked, if you are lucky it might have survived and you willonly need a wiring repair and a dry out, toprevent this happening again you must either ask a dealer to do it or purchase the sealing putty from a dealer and place it around the pollen filter housing. VW are well aware of this problem and they willknow exactly what you are talking about. Hope this helps.

2004 Audi A3 power windows and central locking have stopped working, are these on the same fuse!!!

Yes they are on the same fuse. If changing the fuse doesn't fix the problem check the passenger footwell for dampness as water can get into the convenience control unit from a possible leaking pollen filter housing. If there is no dampness, the control unit could still cause this problem and it;s situated under the carpet in the passenger footwell.
