There are several fans on this unit, but the one that seems to give most problem is the one right behind the LAMP. these usually fail because of the heat, age & the accumulation of dust. BE SURE TO VACUUM ALL THE DUST FROM UNIT in order for it to run cooler. Dust causes HEAT..HEAT DESTROYS ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS.

    Sound but no picture, tv will not turn off. Light goes red but a dim overall blue screen remains and fan is still running.

    4 blinks = No Vert. Deflection (V STOP), Screen goes to a single horizontal line then the video signal muted. Check IC1509, Q1505.
