Question about Lexerd Sony HDR-XR260 TrueVue Crystal Clear Digital Camcorder Screen

Open Question

Anything I record does not Save and my old photos don't import on my computer, it just stays stuck. How can I save recordings and upload onto my computer?

2 questions: 1 - I have a Sony XDR-XR260 8.9 Megapixel HD Camcorder extended 55x Zoom. When I hit record and try to save it, it doesn't save onto the camera. How can I get it to save on the camera? It's supposed to have a built in memory card? 2 - When I upload old photos or videos on the computer, it just sits there and loads. It ends up freezing. Nothing ends uploading. How can this be fixed?

After recording onto a dvd+rw disc, the film wouldn't save and it just said "disc error". It would save on and old disc I've had for years but not onto any out of a brand new pack. Thanks for yr...

Are the new discs compatible with the recorder? Some discs are DVD R+ or DVD R- so check that bit and see if that matches what it says the recorder will run.

For a mistake I deleted some files from my camera Sony Model DCR-SX50E. Can I recover them ?

You may try some recovery software to rescue the files on your recorder, here are some for your option.

Photo Video Music Recovery (for Windows)
Photo Video Music Recovery for Mac

Both programs can also recover video and music files.

Note: Before your files are recovered, do not attempt to save more files to the handy cam in case the original files(your recordings) are overwritten.

Lost my DS-40 audio files after upload. Can I recover them?

you can use card recovery software that helped me before
1. Do not save any new file to memory card.
2. Connect your card to computer. You should see memory card shown as a drive letter (like H:) in My Computer.
3. Download recovery software, recommended one is this photo recovery (simply because i was using it and it worked)
http://www.asoftech.com/adr/
4. Install and open the data recovery program, select your memory drive, and click 'Next' button to start scanning process which will find your deleted files.

How do I recover a recording deleted accidentally from Sansa e250

It is possible to recover your lost recordings.

First things first: DO NOT take any more recordings with the MP3 that you want to recover records from in case you may quite possibly ruin your chances of recovery.

Then Connect the MP3 to your computer as it should appear as a "Removable Drive" or put the card in a card reader attached to your PC.

Next, if you are comfortable with using a PC then you can download a data recovery utility that will recover your recordings with Wondershare Recovery Software from the following link:

Video Audio Photo Recovery (if you are running Windows OS)
Mac Data Recovery (from MacUpdate site)

Do NOT try & write anything back to your MP3 until you can recover your recordings safely!

Deleted files from Olmpus recorder

Those voice recordings can be recovered provided not overwritten(if you keep taken more records, then possible). But do not be that worried as it is not so easy to be overwritten, you can try some audio recovery software to get them recovered. Here are some for your option. Both programs can also recover videos and photos.

Photo Audio Video Recovery (for Windows)
Mac Photo Audio Video Recovery (for Mac OS X)

Note: Before your audios are recovered, do not attempt to save more files.
