Question about Ricoh - RW-240 Print Controller - 411737

Rw 240 scantool, gives the following error message:Could not create directory ...The filemane, directory, or volume label syntax is incorrect.This is my first time using this plotter/scannerRicoh RW 2

When I try to scan a drawing it gives me the error message stated above

Check the folder name & location of the directory at the end of the error message string, then check to see if that directory actually exists and if you (logged in user) actually have full read/write privileges to that directory.

u shuld probably purge it, right lick, and format, but save that as a last resort, try right clicking, and renaming it

I can 't open file extension .ini in windowes xp

You can start by clicking start, then click run, and type regedit and press enter. Then expand the HKEY_Classes_Root folder and look for .ini, Click on .ini and make sure it is the following:

Default REG_SZ inifile
PerceivedType REG_SZ text

Problem with opening ini files...


from each computer:
right click on a .ini file,
select 'open with...'
choose notepad and select the box that says 'always use the selected program to ope this kind of file'
click 'ok'

It says filename,directory name or volume label syntax is incorect


try formatting the device using the software - either rhapsody, Samsung Media Player or normal windows Media Player. That shoudl fix any naming errors. Then re-install the software.
