Thanks for visiting FixYa!

No, PayPal does not work with Money Orders.

PayPal is an online account where people can send and receive money from each other. Specifically, think of PayPal as kind of like a Western Union Terminal in which you have control. For example, before PayPal existed if Person No. 1 wanted to send Person No. 2 money immediately they'd go to Western Union and have it wired. Now, with PayPal Person #1 would send Person #2 funds from their PayPal account.

If you wanted to send funds (from a money order for example) you'd have to deposit the money Order in your Bank account and then transfer the funds from your Bank account to your PayPal account. Then, you could use the money in your PayPal account as you needed to.

How does paypal work..i dont know anything about it..i am new

Paypal allows you to make online purchases at any vendor that supports Paypal. Once you save your credit card information on Paypal you cant make a purchase simply by logging into your account and don't have to reenter the information again. You can also add a bank account to Paypal and pay for things through your bank account. Paypal is a very useful tool when buying or selling things online.

How does a PayPal account work?

Instead of paying with your credit card in 3 shopping sites, you give Paypal the CC details and pay with your Paypal . Then Paypal sends them money instead of you, and Paypal charge your CC for that. Its all here.

Paypal payment made to person with wrong account listing

Generally if the paypal account is not linked to any Credit Card or Debit Card the money u transfer to that account will return back. But in your case check with your bankers or write to paypal about this. We dont know whether the recipient has linked his account or not, if he has not linked with any credit or debit card , then your money will return back.

Credit Card does not work with PayPal anymore

Be sure to check the expiration date in PayPal and make sure it is up to date with your card. Had this problem in the past where I never updated the date and could not use it. Took me awhile before I figured it out. Maybe you are having the same problem.
