It might be advisable to look at another of the same type of seat to see the strap routing. Maybe take a picture of one in a store? Do you have a friend with the same seat?

Good Afternoon

The harness straps should not have been completely removed from the carseat - you do not have to do this in order to remove the fabrics for washing. We cannot advise that you re-thread the harness yourself due to the safety implications of it being incorrectly done. This carseat should be sent to our engineers for them to carry out this work and for full safety checks to be done before it is used again.

If you are in the UK please contact our customer service department on 01284 413 141 Mon-Fri 8.30-4.30 and have a chat with one of the advisors about this.

How to change the Safety 1st "Alpha Omega Elite" to a booster

To change it into a belt positioning booster seat, you remove the harness straps completely and use the positioning clips on the side of the carseat (up by the head) to position the automobile's seat belt to the appropriate position.

Car straps to attach to car of the straps on the car seat?
If it's to attach to the car, feel in the back seats where they join together (seat to backrest area) and you should feel some hooks in there.

I have a Safety 1st baby carseat, it's a 22-391-MLO. I need to know how to put the straps back in!

each end of the long strap should be threaded up through the slots on either side of the baby's bottom, and then through the diagonal slots even with baby's shoulders. There is a clasp on the back of the car seat that you can thread each end through and adjust to the proper length.
