a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Go to your display settings and instead of choosing automatic for display choose custom. The 3D option is splitting your picture horizontally.

SOURCE: Hello, I am having trouble
You can make sure you have an open nat. To perform this you will need the following router information. You obtain this inside your router menu usually 192.168.2.1 or 192.168.1.1 entered in the search bar of your internet browser. You will need to find your router information such as the Base IP or what you used to enter the menu, DNS server 1+2, Default Gateway, I suggest using a piece of paper and writting all that information down. Second step you will want to go into your menu and find out your DHCP range usually 192.168.2.100-149 or 192.168.1.100-149 depending on the main IP address of the Router. 3rd step go to the Gaming and Applications tab and find and set the DMZ (note you will want to set an IP easy to remember as well as outside of the DHCP range) so in case it looks like the numbers I gave I would select an IP around 192.168.1.160 or 192.168.2.160 and enter that in the DMZ as well as write this number down. 4th step Reboot router which actually puts the information into the router and makes it active. Now with the information you have go into your PS3 now. Main Menu, Settings, Network Settings, Connection Settings either wired or wireless, You are going to want to do a Custom Connection Type, Network Device auto detect, Manual IP settings, Enter your information gathered from your router, MTU automatic, Proxy Server dont use, UPnP disabled, then hit X to enter for your connection test, You should get a Nat Type 1, or Type 2 either are preffered. Continue into your game, if your still having issues there is a selection inside of the game before your MultiPlayer screen and it says Nat Type Preffered is Open moderate does work however, then Party Privacy usually it shows open, but if your still having issues, try to select Locale Only. This will look more for the closer game servers to you. Hope this helps Happy Gaming.
